Dr Jeremy Cobbold MA, MBBS, MRCP(UK), PhD

Consultant Hepatologist, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford

Dr Jeremy Cobbold is a Consultant Hepatologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and has broad experience in clinical hepatology and the complications of liver disease.

Dr Cobbold qualified from Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge and University College London in 2001. He completed specialty training in London, including at the Royal Free Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. He was awarded a PhD at Imperial College London in 2008 and went on to obtain an NIHR Clinical Lectureship in Hepatology, which he held until 2012. His research interests include novel therapies in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and the non-invasive assessment of chronic liver disease. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and is the author of 4 book chapters on aspects of liver disease.

Dr Cobbold in a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK), the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) and the British Association for the Study of the Liver (BASL).
