Chris Worsfold has over 25 years’ experience as a Chartered Clinical Physiotherapist specialising in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He is a full time clinician. He has wide-ranging NHS & Private clinical experience and he has extensive experience of providing clinical negligence medical reports.

His claimant: defendant ratio is 1:1. He has prepared reports for the MoD and NHSLA and has given evidence in Court, at Fitness to Practice Hearings for the Health and Care Professions Council and at internal NHS investigations.

His area of expertise is out patient orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy which can include (but is not restricted to) opinion on cases of alleged physiotherapy negligence in sports injuries, post-surgery and cervical arterial dissection in relation to physiotherapy treatment to the neck. He is an experienced and in-demand public speaker and has spoken at over fifty national conferences, seminars and Universities to health professionals, Master’s level postgraduates and lawyers.

He has a special interest in neck pain and whiplash injury and gave oral evidence in Parliament to the Transport Select Committee investigation into whiplash claims (2013). He was also a member of the Ministry of Justice Whiplash Reform Core Group (2014) and is a past Director of MedCo (2015), representing the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. He has published 16 peer reviewed physiotherapy and medical journal publications. He has completed the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate (2007). He has appeared on BBC1, BBC2, BBC Parliament and BBC Radio 4 discussing whiplash injury.
