Mr Stuart Winter, MD, MB ChB, BSc, MRCS, FRCS(ORL-HNS)

Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust 

Mr Winter was appointed as a Consultant Ear Nose and Throat surgeon at the Oxford University Hospitals in 2011. Before taking up his current position in Oxford he held the post of Consultant Ear Nose and Throat Surgeon at the University of Swansea, from 2009.

He graduated from the University of Bristol in 1997 and trained in the South West of England and the Oxford region. He spent a year as a Fellow at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia, refining his interest in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery.

During his training he completed a higher degree in surgical oncology at the Weatheral Institute of Molecular Medicine, Oxford.

He has written a number of books, book chapters and peer review publications.

His principal interests are in patients with head and neck cancer, benign pathology in the head and neck region, salivary pathology, robotics surgery and swallowing disorders.

He is involved with a number of national committees principally concerned with care of patients with head and neck cancer.
