Mrs Robyn Webber MD FRCSEd(Urol)

Mrs Webber is a Consultant Urological Surgeon, and honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Edinburgh.
She trained as a urologist on the East of Scotland training scheme in urology. During that time Mrs Webber conducted research into the effects of omega three fatty acids on prostate cancer, for which she was awarded the degree of MD in 2001. In the year 2000, Mrs Webber was appointed as consultant urological surgeon at Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride. In 2005, she took up a similar post at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline, which she still holds.
In addition to her clinical work, Mrs Webber is a question writer and examiner for the MRCS and the intercollegiate examination in urology; the FRCS (Urol). She has previously been an external examiner for University College London, a clinical adviser to the Healthcare Commission in England, and to the Parliamentary and Health Services Ombudsman, and also an independent clinical advisor to the NHS.
She commenced medicolegal reporting in November 2007, and has been listed in the Law Society of Scotland Directory of Expert Witnesses since 2009. To date she has completed over 160 reports; including both clinical negligence and personal injury cases, and have undertaken reporting for the Procurator Fiscal Service in Scotland, and the NHS Litigation Authority in England. She has experience of giving evidence in court.
